Julia Boddy, founder of London-based Tink Food Ltd and working mum to three kids, gave up her job in HR to create nutritious and tasty food that other parents could benefit from. The brief for the packaging was to help parents to engage their kids with food so each pack has funny and historical facts about the ingredients in the food. A cartoon illustration style was designed to entertain both parents and kids alike. The packaging was supposed to have a rustic and organic feel (through choice of recycled card), but fun and have stand-out appeal on the shelves amongst the competition.
